Estoril Conferences 4.27

The Estoril Conferences are a bi-annual international event with the overall theme “Global Challenges, Local Answers” which focus on the challenges of globalization and aims to provide a substantial contribution to the international dialogue between nations and regions towards effective local solutions for our global challenges.

Having always been affected by the confluence of many cultures, Portugal has a frontline tradition of bringing together peoples and regions in debates on ideas on modernity, ecumenism and universalism. In line with that tradition, the Estoril Conferences bring together some of the most renowned personalities from political and academic level, international and non-governmental organizations, universities, research and development centres, journalists and thinks tanks, from various geographical and ideological backgrounds, so that we can build a wealth of Knowledge and Wisdom that is the basis for the Present and Future.
